Emerging Leaders Fall Social - November 7th
The Emerging Leaders began in early 2019 when the Burke County Chamber of Commerce and the Burke County United Way came together to create a steering committee. We both saw a need for the development and support of the young professionals in our county, and more opportunities for them to connect, network and give back to their community.
Burke County Emerging Leaders will host a Social on Thursday, November 7th from 5:30 to 7 pm at Fonta Flora Brewery, located at 317 N Green Street in Downtown Morganton (in the event room). This is a free event and all young professionals aged 21- 40 are welcome to join us for ice-breaker games, networking, and finger-foods.
The Emerging Leaders will also be collecting non-perishable food items at the event for the food pantry at Burke United Christian Ministries. Thanksgiving meal related items are suggested, as well as canned vegetables and beans, dry pasta, cereals, oatmeal, canned Chef Boyardee entrees and tomato soup.
