Your monetary investment to Burke County United Way allows our partner agencies and their programs to feed the hungry; house the homeless and provide transitional housing and case management services; receive primary and dental care for the uninsured; provide substance use/misuse education, treatment, and prevention; build handicap ramps for persons with mobility issues; offer literacy tutoring and workforce development training; foster positive adult role models to mentor youth in our community; provide rape and sexual assault advocacy, education and therapy; deliver arts and cultural education and camps for impoverished youth.

Christian home repair ministry established for the purpose of assisting persons in Burke and surrounding counties to make houses dry, safe and warm, with emphasis on assisting the older adult population.
The Good Samaritan Clinic

Interdenominational Christian ministry providing medical, dental and mental health care to Burke County residents who are without government assistance, private insurance or the financial resources to afford such care.
The Meeting Place Mission

Provides emergency shelter, transitioning homeless individuals and families into permanent housing, safe shelter, recovery, and continued case management to ensure success.
Options, Inc.
Informs and educates the citizens of Burke County, while offering support and services to the victims of domestic violence and violent crimes. This is accomplished by providing sanctuary and compassionate services that promote empowerment, prevention, healing, and recovery.
