COMMUNITY SURVEYS
Our community surveys find that the majority of community stakeholders believe our funds should be spent on Collaborative Projects in order to address broader needs and issues.
Out of 14 community issues, 338 community members identify the top issues in Burke County:
1. Affordable Housing
2. A.L.I.C.E.* Family Needs (Self Sufficiency) & Homelessness
3. Workforce Development, Reading Proficiency, Mental Health
4. Substance Use/Misuse
*Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed
Our New Focus
Taking our survey results into account, we carved out our three core initiatives. We recognize that our community's most pressing challenges are interwoven, and seek to address the challenges in a multitiered approach to positively impact the future of individual and generations to come.

GOALS FOR THE NEXT THREE YEARS
Our Strategic Plan for 2021-2024 will drive the success of our organization's future and maximize the benefits for the individuals in our community.
This strategic plan presents our five Goals for the next three years and Objectives for each:

2. Enhance Standing & Awareness within the Community
3. Ensure the Sufficiency & Stability of Staff
4. Develop a more Effective & Engaged Board of Directors
