Day of Action is an opportunity for communities to come together and address the issues that matter most to them. For some, it’s packing meals to feed those who are food insecure. For others, it’s cleaning a local homeless or domestic violence shelter so those who seek refuge have a clean, safe environment. All projects have been identified by local organizations requesting volunteers to assist with a project that can be completed within a four hour period.
Build-A-Backpack program – distributed 30 collection boxes around the community to collect school supplies for local youth
Feed Your Neighbor Program - packed 2,400 meals for distribution to local residents who are food insecure
Foothills Service Project - sorted items and cleaned thrift store

The Meeting Place – Suzy Fitzgerald Women & Children’s Shelter - layed gravel and provided lawn care
